Part collage, part documentary film, part performance, part ethnographic study, this creative project takes the process of reflection and re-contextualizes it as a time-based durational art practice. Through this project, I curate and organize artifacts and objects that serve as documentation of my mental emotional state and worldbuilding/creative writing practices to tell the story of my non-linear growth between September 2020 and May 2024. This includes journal entries, audio notes, photo albums, video footage, and more. This narrative of growth is then expressed creatively through poetry, narrative prose, photography, collage, video (color, sound), and performance. Through this creative representation of my mental and emotional state, questions and ponderings about interpersonal relationality and community, and its manifestation in my creative writing, I form new understandings of myself, my belief system, and the future I dream for.

Through the presentation of this work and the engagement of guests in workshops around reflection, I hope to inspire and guide others into engaging in reflection, dreaming, and worldbuilding.

This project mirrors lifetime learning and is in a perpetual state of being in progress as new experiences and reflections occur daily.
